The Axel cannot be curved, therefore it cannot be adapted to work on a spiral stair case.

Yes. The axle range can be welded prior to powder coating, so there is a way to create a DDA compliant handrail. But this not done in house by Lumorail. For this specific application we recommend you purchase the product in mill finish and speak with your local handrail installer.
