South Eastern Centre for Sustainability
The South Eastern Centre for Sustainability (SECS) is focused on energy efficient & sustainable materials, so it was only natural that they turned to Lumorail to supply the most environmentally friendly option. The complete package, with 32 meters of frameless glass balustrading, and featuring 13 meters of Lumorail Forrest Range was donated to SECS in order to show Lumorails support for such a worthy organisation.
Environmental concerns have become increasingly important over the past decade as community awareness of climate change, biodiversity, drought and related environmental issues has increased dramatically. The science underpinning concerns about climate change is now well established and the consequences for sustainability increasingly understood.
It was very important that the lighting installed was able to be adjusted to best suit each season with minimum impact on the environment.
